Yin Yoga
60 min
Yin is a slower style of yoga that focuses on long holds of passive postures, with frequent use of props to fully support the body in the shape of the pose. In Yin Yoga, we allow the muscles to relax so that the pose can exert gentle, healthy stress on the deeper tissues of the body (ligaments, fascia, etc.). Stillness and mindful breathing are important aspects of Yin Yoga, making it an excellent complement to more active, Yang styles of yoga. The practice room will be approximately 80-85F. All levels are welcome.
